Cavity Enhanced Spectroscopy (CES) is an international meeting that brings together the community of physicists, chemists, atmospheric scientists, and engineers who conduct research in cavity enhanced spectroscopy and its many applications. The meeting is a forum for presentation of the latest developments in the field of optical cavities, including fundamental optics, micro- and nano-photonics, and applications ranging from industrial monitoring to health care and atmospheric studies. Investigators at all career stages from academia, government and industry are invited to attend.

The 2026 CES Conference and Summer School is taking place in Victoria, Canada, on the campus of the University of Victoria (UVic), from June 15-19, 2026.
UVic has a park-like setting and is within a 20 min walk to Cadboro Bay Beach, the Mystic Vale rain forest, Finnerty Botanical Gardens, as well as many hiking and bicycle trails.
The University of Victoria (UVic) is located in Victoria, the capital of British Columbia, on the southern tip of Vancouver Island. Victoria and Vancouver Island are major tourist attractions. Victoria is a hub for outdoor enthusiasts - surfing, hiking, bike riding, mountaineering, and kayaking are common activities. It also has a vibrant restaurant and music scene and excellent tourism infrastructure. Within Canada Victoria is mostly envied for its year-round mild climate.
